The Coquitlam facility will close for annual maintenance, reopening with limited fitness center hours.

Coquitlam’s City Centre Aquatic Complex (CCAC) will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance from September 3 to October 6, with plans to reopen on October 7.

During this period, the fitness center will close from September 3 to 9 and will reopen on September 10 with adjusted hours. The center will operate Monday to Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and remain closed on Sundays. Services will cease 30 minutes before closing time.

The closure is essential for routine maintenance that cannot be performed while the facility is operational. Tasks include draining and deep-cleaning of pools, maintenance of fitness equipment, regrouting tiles, and servicing mechanical systems. This ensures a safe environment, reduces equipment failures, and extends asset longevity.

Alternate swimming options are available at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (PSLC) and Eagle Ridge Outdoor Pool until October 6. For further schedules and location details, residents can visit coquitlam.ca.
