City of Coquitlam announces holiday schedules for recreation, waste collection, and other services.
Coquitlam City facilities and services have modified schedules for the winter holiday season through early January.
Residents can find adjusted hours for recreation centers and civic facilities at coquitlam.ca/HolidayHours. The city’s recreation centers offer all-ages drop-in activities, including pools, arenas, and other sports options. Detailed information is available at coquitlam.ca/StayAndPlay.
Visitors can enhance their Lights at Lafarge experience with free outdoor events in Town Centre Park. Dates and times are at coquitlam.ca/ParkSpark.
Garbage, Green Cart, and recycling collection schedules will change due to statutory holidays on December 25, 26, and January 1. The collection on December 25 will occur on December 27, December 26 on December 28, January 1 on January 2, and January 2 on January 3.
Residents are encouraged to download the Curbside Collection app for notifications and service updates, or access a personalized Collection Calendar online at coquitlam.ca/recollect.

The Town Centre Recycling Depot will be closed on December 24, 25, 26, 30, 31, and January 1. Alternate drop-off locations are listed at coquitlam.ca/recycling.

The Snow Response Request Tool is available for severe weather reports, accessible at coquitlam.ca/SnowResponse.
