Coquitlam residents have until March 31 to avoid utility bill penalties.
Coquitlam property owners have one week remaining to pay their 2025 utility bill to avoid incurring a penalty. Payments are due by March 31, 2025.
Residents who have not yet received their bill should contact Revenue Services via email at utility_info@coquitlam.ca or phone at 604-927-3050.
A 5% penalty will be applied to unpaid balances after March 31, with an additional 5% penalty imposed after October 1, 2025.
Coquitlam offers various payment options, allowing residents to settle bills from home. Details are available at coquitlam.ca/UtilityPayment.
The Utilities Instalment Plan enables residents to make six pre-authorized withdrawals from their bank account, credited to the next year’s bill. Applications must be submitted by July 15 for withdrawals beginning August 1.
MyCoquitlam provides easy online access to billing information, allowing users to sign up for e-billing and receive notices directly via email. The service is available at coquitlam.ca/MyCoquitlam.
