New public art tour allows visitors to explore local creativity in Coquitlam’s City Centre.
Lace up your sneakers and explore Coquitlam’s City Centre neighborhood with a new self-guided public art tour, part of the city’s exciting arts and culture programming for this year.
This 30-minute tour invites visitors to discover colorful murals and sculptures at their own pace. Participants can learn about the artists and stories behind each piece, equipped with a downloadable map from the City’s website and informational plaques at each stop.
Starting from Lincoln Station and concluding at Town Centre Park Community Centre, the tour showcases the role civic art plays in enhancing public spaces. Highlights include the Pillow Station at Lincoln Station and The Ripple at 1198 Pinetree Way.

Two murals, The Ripple and Ancestral Legacy, reflect the city’s commitment to Reconciliation as outlined in Coquitlam’s 2024–2027 Strategic Plan. The city aims to foster respectful relations with local First Nations.
