The council reviewed Spirit of Coquitlam Grant disbursement, including a separated $20,000 allocation for S.U.C.C.E.S.S., endorsed without objection.
Further deliberations addressed the Major Facilities Roadmap, emphasizing community feedback on flexibility and future ice rink planning, with the roadmap gaining unanimous endorsement.
Attention turned to the 2025-2035 Sports Field Strategy, focusing on adaptable planning and securing community input, culminating in endorsements for field strategy implementation and fee adjustments.
Engineering and public works took center stage with discussions on stormwater management for residential developments, endorsed to enable changes through policy amendments.
The Director of Development Services led approvals for multiple development applications, including zoning amendments and conservation permits, all adopted by the council.
The meeting concluded with setting the next meeting date for July 7, 2025, and adjourned at 10:14 p.m.
