Since 2002, the City of Coquitlam has awarded over $10 million to 275 community groups, fostering programs and services through this grant.

Twice a year, grants support projects taking place in Coquitlam, primarily benefiting its residents and aligning with the City’s strategic priorities.

Applicants must be registered non-profits in good standing. Funding is contingent on available resources and evaluation criteria, with priority possibly given to first-time applicants.

The City will review applications in the fall, and successful applicants will be announced in December 2025.

The spring intake opens in February 2026.

Funded by Casino Host Agreement revenue, the Spirit of Coquitlam Grant Program aids local organizations in achieving their mandates and community objectives.
