Residents and the broader community can register for summer camps, swimming and skating programs starting May 13.
Exciting summer recreational programming is just around the corner in Coquitlam. Starting May 13, locals can register for diverse camps aimed at keeping children and youth active this summer.
To streamline the registration process for summer camps, a new virtual waiting room system, Queue-It, will be implemented. Registration for summer swim and skating programs is already open, offering an opportunity to plan and secure preferred schedules.
Registration for summer camps starts May 13 for Coquitlam residents, followed by broader community access on May 15. Registration for general fitness and parks programming will begin May 20 for residents and May 22 for others.
Programs can be viewed online at coquitlam.ca/registration at least four days prior to registration opening. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and is available online, in-person, and by phone at 604-927-4386. Most recreation facilities also take registrations.
To ensure a smooth registration process, check your online account for accuracy. Key details to verify include correct street and unit numbers, the spelling of ‘Coquitlam,’ and the inclusion of the postal code.
Coquitlam’s Financial Assistance for Recreation program now offers simplified applications and increased flexibility. Qualifying residents can receive 50 free drop-ins and a $225 credit for various recreation services.
