Candidates can access nomination packages for the February 2025 by-election in Coquitlam.

Candidate packages are now available for individuals intending to run in the 2025 School District 43 School Trustee by-election, scheduled for February 22, 2025.

Prospective candidates can download the nomination package from the city’s website or request a printed version via the elections office. Nomination papers must be submitted to the Chief or Deputy Chief Election Officer between January 7 and January 17, 2025.

To qualify as a candidate, individuals must meet the criteria outlined in Section 32 of the School Act. Details can be accessed through the city’s election website.

Eligible voters will elect a School Trustee for the remainder of a four-year term on February 22, 2025. Advance voting is set for February 12 and 15, 2025. Information on voter eligibility and polling locations is available online.
