Residents encouraged to prepare for upcoming registration for a variety of recreational programs.

Coquitlam residents and visitors can look forward to a vibrant fall lineup as the city opens registration for its recreational programs. Beginning August 5, interested participants can sign up for a range of activities aimed at promoting fitness, learning, and community engagement.

The registration process starts with Coquitlam residents eligible for Pro-D Day programs on August 5, followed by non-residents on August 7. Registration for general fitness and parks programs opens for residents on August 12, and for non-residents on August 14.

All programs can be previewed online at coquitlam.ca/registration a minimum of four days before registration starts. The process, which begins at 8:30 a.m., offers flexibility with options for online, in-person, and phone registrations. Interested individuals can call 604-927-4386 or visit local recreation centers.

To ensure a seamless experience, participants are encouraged to update their online accounts before registration day. Verification of personal details such as street address, proper spelling of Coquitlam, and postal codes can help avoid registration issues.

Coquitlam’s Financial Assistance for Recreation program also offers financial support for residents. Eligible participants can enjoy 50 free drop-in visits and a $225 credit towards various recreational services. Simplified application and income verification processes are now in place.
